Frequently asked questions
Does the competitor need to be in a library?
No. You choose an eligible HTTP(S) web app for fossil to explore. Coverage depends on access, scope and the paths reached by the hosted browser.
What about pages behind a login?
Use only access you are authorized to have. You can save a session for the project yourself; fossil does not bypass authentication or access controls.
Will fossil tell me where their users drop off?
No. A captured interface shows the experience that was reached, not the competitor’s traffic, conversion rates or real user sessions.
